This week was Andrew’s. Shoutout to all the puppo parents out there! Chicago “happy heavy math rock” outfit Snooze opened the back gate and released Familiaris into the world in 2019. What is, on its surface, an album chronicling the life of a dog from the animal’s perspective truly seems, upon deeper investigation, an album about unconditional love and universal cycles.
